Choose the right type of steel

Correct cutting and welding methods
When cutting steel, you should use appropriate cutting tools, such as plasma cutting machines or gas cutting equipment, to ensure that the cut is smooth and burr-free. Before cutting, the steel should be accurately measured and marked, and attention should be paid to safety, and protective glasses and gloves should be worn. During welding, the steel surface needs to be cleaned to remove impurities such as oil and rust, and appropriate welding materials and welding processes should be selected according to the thickness of the steel and the welding part to avoid welding deformation and cracks.
Reasonable storage and maintenance measures
The storage and maintenance of steel are also very important. Steel should be stored in a dry, ventilated, clean environment, and avoid being stacked with corrosive materials such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Steel stored for a long time needs to be cleaned of dust regularly and kept clean. Different types of steel should be stacked separately to prevent confusion. For steel that is exposed to harsh environments for a long time, such as HEB140 steel, regular maintenance and care are required, such as painting anti-corrosion paint, checking welds, etc., to extend its service life.
